Track up to eight habits on a simple weekly grid. Tick off each day, watch your weekly score and streaks, and keep your progress saved in your own browser.
How to use the habit tracker
- Rename the sample habits or add your own, up to eight.
- Tick a box each day you complete a habit.
- Watch your weekly completion score and your best run of consecutive days.
- At the end of the week, click Start a new week to clear the ticks while keeping your habits.
Your habits are saved automatically in your browser's local storage, so they are still there when you come back on the same device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
Why tracking habits works
Seeing a visible record of progress is motivating, and a chain of ticked days creates a gentle nudge not to break it. Tracking also makes patterns obvious: if a habit fails every Friday, you know where to adjust.
Tips for habits that stick
- Start tiny. "Read one page" is easier to begin than "read for an hour", and it often grows naturally.
- Attach it to an existing routine: "after I pour my morning coffee, I will…"
- Make it obvious and easy: put the book on your pillow or your shoes by the door.
- Never miss twice. Missing one day is normal; getting back on track the next day is what counts.
- Track only a few habits at a time. Three to five is plenty.
Frequently asked questions
Will my habits sync between my phone and computer?
No. They are stored only in the browser where you created them. Use the same device and browser to keep your history.
How long does it take to form a habit?
Research suggests it varies widely, from a few weeks to several months depending on the person and the habit. Consistency matters more than the exact number of days.
